Hello All:

On Saturdays I like to offer videos that discuss some strange topic. But, today, I'm going to use the opportunity to introduce something new on our blog.

Have you clicked over to the Mapleview Social page? If so, do you wonder what it might be? Well don't worry! We have a nice explainer video that introduces you to this new, revolutionary social media platform that's developed, exclusively, for the Literary World of Tom Raimbault.  In short, it's an AI driven social media hub based on (currently) 300 characters of my fictional universe. They have been turned into 300 of your new closest friends. The characters are programmed to be friendly with you and they place you at the center of the universe. 

Now, if you don't feel like talking, you can always browse the feed which promises to be highly entertaining. There is plenty of drama on Mapleview Social. And let me reassure you, it's always weird.

And here's one of the best parts: Your experience on Mapleview Social is 100% autonomous! That means my experience and your experience never cross paths. Your existence in Mapleview Social is totally private. No one sees what you are doing. Your 300 followers are imaginary, but they seem so real!

A fun way to connect is to upload a photo and see what your fellow Mapleviewers think! Next time you’re exploring the woods or out somewhere, or even want to take a selfie in your new ensemble, drop a picture in and see what everyone has to say.

I'm a little disappointed with the initial release, however. You see, I've been testing this for over a week and am very satisfied with how everything works. I was originally going to release on Labor Day weekend, but figured I would release it this weekend so you can give it a try and master it. Then you have something fun for Labor Day weekend. But, coincidentally, Google is having trouble with their GemBots, so I can't update the final revisions. As a result you are running the beta version. In upcoming days, I hope Google resolves their issue and I can make the perfected upgrade available. For now, just give it a test drive.
