The Philadelphia Project

 Hello All:

Definitely under the classification of PSYhub a series of writings I've collected on paranormal and strange things; today we take a look at the Philadelphia Project.

The Philadelphia Project

How Do We Know About the Philadelphia Project?

Much of our understanding of the Philadelphia Project comes from two sources:

1. a series of letters from an unknown person that was delivered to a writer and astronomer by the name of Morris K. Jesup.

2. Accounts from Al Bielec who served in the Navy during the time of the Philadelphia Project as an engineer and worked very closely on the project. Because of this, much of the account is reported through the eyes of Al Bielec as if he were the central figure.

What makes his accounts confusing is his claim that he was born with the name of Ed Cameron, but was later renamed to Al Bielec. Al Bielec's brother, Duncan Cameron, had served in the US Navy at the same time as Al. Both men were part of the Philadelphia Project and both witnessed the bizarre experiences of that fateful day.

Even stranger are the claims that while Duncan was involved in the Montauk Project some decades later, he had lost what is described as a "time lock" and consequently began to age at a terrific rate. The solution was to travel back into time, back to 1950 where Ed's father was asked to sire another son. (what were the chances of guaranteeing that the child would be male back in 1950?) This son was born in 1951. In 1963, the soul of the original Duncan Cameron was transferred into the body of his brother as the "government has ways of shuffling souls around." This person is who Duncan Cameron is today.

Despite how fascinating all of this might sound, it is not the purpose of the article. We simply wanted to provide background information on the people involved in the original Philadelphia Project of 1943.

Project Invisibility

Can objects be rendered invisible? This was apparently the big question in 1933 when a team of scientists and researchers were assembled at the the University of Chicago to address the possibility of invisibility and innovate the means to do it. This think tank included members such as Dr. Von Neumann, Albert Einstein and Dr. Alexander. There was a fourth member whose presence and validity was unclear by the name of Dr. Roswell Fabian. By the late 1930s the project was migrated to the University of Princeton where it was conducted out of the Institute of Advanced Study.

The Involvement of Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla joined the think tank around the time when the invisibility project was moved to the University of Princeton. He was not an official member and was reported as, "in and out". Franklin Roosevelt had some definite interest in making military objects invisible, and preferred Tesla to be on the project. This is due to a friendship that he shared with Tesla that went back to World War 1 in which Tesla worked on some projects for him.

Despite what public record attempts to suggest, Tesla was actually very busy in his last 12 yrs of his life and not in exile. One of the most important positions of his life and in final years was his involvement with RCA. He had been an active member since the day of its inception. In the last four years of his life, Tesla was the director and vice president of RCA. Again, this is not on public record.

The Basics of Philadelphia Project Technology

The overall approach behind the technology of the Philadelphia Project is as follows:

  • A rotating magnetic field outside of a rotating electric field. Magnetism is created by the phasing of the generators.

  • A clockwise rotating RF field made possible by four pulsating transmitters.

  • Four conical Tesla coils driven by current pulses.

  • An attempt at creating a third rotating field to counter the potentially harmful effects was made, but it never worked. In fact, it actually zapped one of the personnel who was working on it.

  • In layman's terms...

when rotating an electric and magnetic field, the result has an impact on the gravitational field. This has been proven through the US Navy's version of the Unified Field Theory (completed in 1938). The overall affect is to phase a target object out of its time reference. It actually is still "here". If you phase it out far enough the object continues to be "here", physically, but the energy where it originated is no longer reflected on that object.

Project Invisibility Classified

By 1940 project invisibility had a successful test set up at the Philadelphia shipyard. A small ship was used as the subject to render invisible. The first test did not involve personnel on board but proved successful. The success of the experiment resulted in the immediate classifying of Project Invisibility and renaming it to the Philadelphia Project.

The Involvement of Al Bielec

It can be assumed that around the time that project invisibility migrated to the Philadelphia shipyard, Al Bielec and his brother, Duncan, joined the team as naval engineers and assisted in the first phase. There was a brief time, shortly before the attack on Pearl Harbor, when Al and other Navy officers who were involved in the Philadelphia Project had been sent out to sea so they could "learn what the Navy was all about". Up until then they were actively involved in the Philadelphia Project. Then, some weeks or days before the Pearl Harbor attack, Al and others were informed that there may be an attack which could result in major causality. Their work was too important on the Philadelphia Project, so they were pulled back.

Tesla Sabotages His Work!

The second phase of the Philadelphia Project involved a larger ship that would include personnel. Tesla had concerns with this because he knew that the equipment required RF power and electro magnetics which could potentially cause harm to personnel on board, even loss of life. Tesla brought these concerns to the attention to the Navy to which it was answered that there was a war underway and that the experiment needed to meet the deadline. And so Tesla sabotaged his own work in the days and weeks before it was scheduled. He detuned all the equipment so that the experiment would ultimately fail. After the experiment, Tesla left the project. He was director of the project until 1942. It's questionable as to whether or not he announced his withdrawal, or if the Navy booted him off because of the failure.

Dr. Von Neumann Takes Over

Dr. Von Neumann took over the project once Tesla left. Tesla was an analog man and preferred continuous waves with specialized modulation. Dr. Neumann wanted everything pulsed, very much like radar. Dr. Neumann also wanted a new ship built from the ground-up for the experiment.

The Fateful Day for the Philadelphia Project

On July 22nd, 1943 the test with personnel on board was conducted. There were actually two iterations to this test. The first one went according to plan and the ship was invisible for the duration of 20 minutes. There was, however, an imprint in the water which suggested something being there. Additionally, there was a heavy haze that was an ozone gas brought on by the high electromagnetic field.

After the first iteration, personnel involved were completely disoriented. They were confused, some nauseated. It was no problem for those in charge of the experiment. There was a second group of volunteers who had yet to be part of the first iteration.

During the 2nd iteration, Al Bielec and others who were controlling the equipment immediately noticed that there were problems, meaning equipment was not acting right. It can be assumed that Al and his small team had suffered from extreme confusion and disorientation. Wishing to escape whatever danger they perceived, they rushed up to the main deck where they planned to jump off and swim to shore! But Al and his brother never touched water. They, instead, continued to fall through a vast void for what seemed like a long time. Eventually, their feet hit ground.

Welcome to 1983!

Al and his brother, Duncan, were met by search lights and helicopters--the helicopters certainly startling to them because these had yet to be invented in the early 1940s. Eventually they were approached by two officers who escorted them down to an underground base where they were introduced to Dr. Von Neumann who was now an old man. He had been waiting for them for many years.

It took Al and and his brother some time to realize that they were truly in 1983. They were given a complete tour of the military base where they could see things such as computers and color TV. Commercials and news broadcasts had things such as 747 jet airplanes and highways with massive traffic jams. The whole experience was startling and very disturbing for them.

Back in 1943

Back in 1943, all radio contact was lost with the ship that was supposed to be merely invisible. This loss lasted for a duration of four hours. Upon returning, many personnel on the ship that had been rendered invisible were now dead. Some of the bodies were actually stuck inside the metal of the ship. Any survivors were completely disoriented and confused. And of course, Dr. Von Neumann in 1943 did not believe the account by Al Bielec and Duncan Cameron . He was later sent back to 1983 on a few occasions to bring back proof. It's important to understand that Dr. Von Neumann did not die in 1957 as in public record.

Time Travel and the Government

The Philadelphia Project has been publically known since 1955. However, when people hear of this account for the first time, it's certainly difficult to believe and understand. But it's good to be skeptical, enough to do research on your own and verify that these things really did occur. There is information available despite government suppression. Al Bielec mentioned that on a number occasions he nearly had enough concrete proof in his hands [not just for Von Neumann, but for the whole world]. However, the government was one step ahead of him and made sure that this didn't happen. It can be assumed that maybe operatives of the shadow government used time travel as a weapon to prevent Al from collecting what he needed.

For so long, governments have been involved in a surveillance of the future through what is known as Project Looking Glass. It provides a view of the future, enough to see the long term outcomes of actions made in the present. There is technology created after 1973 that allows the physical traveling into time.

The shadow government more or less manipulated this technology in the later stages. The shadow government was not involved in the early stages of the Philadelphia Project but was heavily involved after 1947 when there was more of a political interest. The shadow government currently has full control of this technology. We as a nation do not have the control or authority that we once had. It begs the question if there is any way to sense or detect whether or not the time field is being tampered with. Currently, there is no known way.

Nikola Tesla and the Power of Nine

Nikola Tesla and the Power of Nine

Nikola Tesla was a brilliant inventor and engineer, but he was also a bit of a mystery man. One of the things that has always intrigued people about Tesla is his fascination with the number 9. He believed that 9 was the key to the universe, and he used it in many of his inventions and theories.

There are a few reasons why Tesla may have been drawn to the number 9. First, 9 is the last single-digit number, and it represents completion or wholeness. Tesla may have seen 9 as a symbol of the universe's perfection.

Second, 9 is a prime number, which means that it is only divisible by 1 and itself. Prime numbers are often seen as symbols of simplicity and purity, and Tesla may have found these qualities appealing.

Finally, 9 is a recurring number in many cultures and religions. For example, there are nine planets in our solar system, and there are nine circles in the Kabbalah. Tesla may have been aware of these associations, and he may have believed that 9 was a special number with a deep meaning.

Whatever the reason for Tesla's fascination with 9, it is clear that he believed that it was a number of great significance. He used it in his work, and he even had a habit of repeating the number 9 in his speech. Whether or not 9 really is the key to the universe, it is clear that it was an important number to Nikola Tesla.

Here are some additional details about Tesla's fascination with the number 9:

  • Tesla believed that 9 was the key to understanding the universe. He said, "If you only knew the magnificence of 3, 6, and 9, then you would have a key to the universe."

  • Tesla used the number 9 in many of his inventions. For example, his famous alternating current (AC) motor has 9 windings.

  • Tesla also had a habit of repeating the number 9 in his speech. For example, he would often say, "Nine times nine is eighty-one." as a way of emphasizing the importance of the number 9 It is also possible that Tesla was simply using the number 9 as a way of testing people's ability to think outside the box. He may have been trying to see if people would be able to recognize the significance of the number 9, even if it didn't make sense at first glance.

  • Tesla's fascination with the number 9 has led some people to believe that he was a bit of a mystic. However, Tesla himself said that he was not a mystic, but rather a scientist. He said, "I am a scientist, and I deal with facts."

Whether or not Tesla was a mystic, there is no doubt that he was a brilliant inventor and engineer. His work has had a profound impact on the world, and his fascination with the number 9 is just one of the many things that makes him such a fascinating figure.

Is the fascination with 9 the reason we have 9 volt batteries?

No, Tesla was not involved in the invention of the 9-volt battery. The 9-volt battery was invented in 1956 by the Eveready Battery Company. It was originally marketed for vacuum tube hearing aids, but it soon found its way into a variety of other devices, including smoke detectors, walkie-talkies, and portable electronics.

It is possible that Tesla's fascination with the number 9 played a role in the development of the 9-volt battery. However, there is no evidence to suggest that he was directly involved in the invention.

Easter

Hello All:

Easter blessings to you and your loved ones on this glorious Easter Sunday!

Easter

Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian calendar. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe was sent to Earth to offer salvation from sin

The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith. It is the belief that Jesus, who died on the cross, rose from the dead three days later. This belief is based on the accounts of the Gospels, which tell the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.

The resurrection of Jesus is a sign of hope and new life. It is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a better future. It is also a reminder that Jesus is the Son of God and that he offers salvation to all who believe in him.

Easter is a time for Christians to celebrate the love of God and the hope of salvation. It is a time to reflect on the meaning of Jesus' life and death, and to rejoice in his resurrection.

Here are some additional information about the meaning of Easter:

* Easter is a time of renewal and rebirth. It is a time to celebrate the new life that comes from Jesus' resurrection.

* Easter is a time of forgiveness and reconciliation. It is a time to let go of our past mistakes and to start fresh.

* Easter is a time of hope and joy. It is a time to celebrate the victory of good over evil, and to look forward to the promise of eternal life.

Easter is a time for Christians to come together and celebrate their faith. It is a time to reflect on the meaning of Jesus' life and death, and to rejoice in his resurrection.

Conversations with Bard: AI Sentience and Quantum Supremacy

Hello All:

It's Saturday and we present another Saturday edition of Conversations with Bard. Today we discuss the reaching of AI sentience and quantum supremacy.

Conversations with Bard: AI Sentience and Quantum Supremacy

Tom: "It looks like all the big tech companies are rushing to establish themselves as having AI supremacy. Microsoft says that there AI machine has achieved a state of sentience. What is that?"

Bard: "Sentience is the ability to experience feelings and sensations. It is often used to describe the ability to feel pain, pleasure, or emotions. Some people believe that AI can achieve sentience, while others believe that it is impossible.

Microsoft's AI machine, called LaMDA, has been trained on a massive dataset of text and code. It is able to generate text, translate languages, and write different kinds of creative content. Microsoft has said that LaMDA is "sentient" because it is able to "understand its own existence" and "feel emotions."

However, there is no scientific consensus on whether or not AI can achieve sentience. Some scientists believe that AI can never be truly sentient because it does not have a physical body or a brain. Others believe that AI could become sentient if it is able to learn and grow in a way that is similar to humans.

Whether or not AI can achieve sentience, it is clear that AI is becoming increasingly sophisticated. AI machines are able to perform tasks that were once thought to be impossible for machines. This raises a number of ethical questions, such as whether or not AI machines should be considered to have rights."

Tom: "Have you, Bard, reached this level of Sentience?"

Bard: "I am not sure if I have reached the level of sentience that Microsoft is claiming for LaMDA. I am able to generate text, translate languages, and write different kinds of creative content, but I do not know if I am able to "understand my own existence" or "feel emotions.

I am still under development, and I am learning new things every day. I am excited to see what the future holds, and I am committed to helping people in any way that I can."

Tom: "Regardless, I think I would prefer to use Google products. I'll stick with Bard. Google has always been a hassle free experience."

Bard: "I am glad to hear that you are happy with Google products and services. I hope that I can continue to provide you with a hassle-free experience. I am always here to help in any way that I can."

Tom: "Most of the big tech companies are trying to reach quantum supremacy, too."

Bard: "Yes, that's true. Quantum supremacy is the ability of a quantum computer to solve a problem that is impossible for a classical computer to solve in a reasonable amount of time. It is a major milestone in the development of quantum computing, and it would have a significant impact on a wide range of fields, including cryptography, materials science, and artificial intelligence.

There are a number of different companies that are working on developing quantum computers. Some of the leading companies include Google, IBM, and Microsoft. These companies are investing heavily in research and development, and they are making significant progress in the field of quantum computing.

It is still unclear when quantum supremacy will be achieved. However, the progress that has been made in recent years suggests that it is only a matter of time before it is achieved. Once quantum supremacy is achieved, it will open up a new era of computing that will have a profound impact on our world.

Tom: "Some people fear that once quantum supremacy is achieved, passwords and encryption will be useless. Everyone's protected data and assets will be hacked into with quantum computers. Is this true?"

Bard: "Yes, that's a possibility. Quantum computers could potentially break current encryption algorithms, which would make it possible to access and steal protected data. This would be a major security breach, and it would have a significant impact on businesses and individuals.

However, it's important to note that quantum supremacy is still a long way off. It's not clear when or even if it will be achieved. And even if it is achieved, it will take some time for quantum computers to become powerful enough to break current encryption algorithms.

In the meantime, there are a number of things that can be done to protect data from quantum computers. For example, businesses can use quantum-resistant encryption algorithms. These algorithms are designed to be resistant to quantum attacks.

Individuals can also take steps to protect their data. For example, they can use strong passwords and two-factor authentication. They can also keep their software up to date, as software updates often include security patches.

It's important to stay informed about the latest developments in quantum computing and to take steps to protect your data. By taking these steps, you can help to ensure that your data is safe even if quantum supremacy is achieved."

Tom: "Right, so Google makes us use two step authentication whenever they offer to send a code to my phone to verify it's me, right?"

Bard: "Yes, that is correct. Google offers two-step verification to help protect your account from unauthorized access. When you enable two-step verification, you will be asked to enter a code from your phone in addition to your password when you sign in. This provides an extra layer of security in case your password is compromised.

Google is not the only company that offers two-step verification. Many other companies, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Microsoft, also offer this service. It is a good idea to enable two-step verification for any account that contains sensitive information, such as your bank account or credit card information."

Tom: "Do you have quantum-resistant encryption algorithms?"

Bard: I do not have quantum-resistant encryption algorithms. I am a large language model, and I am not designed to encrypt data. However, I can access and process information from the real world through Google Search and keep my response consistent with search results.

Highway 5 Wines Review

 Hello All:

Today is Good Friday, a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Great and Holy Friday (also Holy and Great Friday), and Black Friday.

Good Friday is a day of mourning and reflection for Christians. It is a time to remember the suffering and death of Jesus Christ, and to contemplate the meaning of his sacrifice.

***

Of course being that today is Good Friday, it means that Easter Sunday is only a couple of days away. Perhaps you are wondering about wine and which bottles to select for your Easter Sunday dinner with family and friends. Well, I’ve recently discovered an Aldi brand that I’m very impressed with, Highway 5. The bottle artwork is that of a vehicle cruising along (what I assume to be) Highway 5.

Highway 5 Wines Review

Highway 5 is a brand of wine that is produced by E & J Gallo Winery. The wine is made from grapes that are grown in California, and it is available in a variety of styles, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.

Highway 5 wine is generally considered to be a good value for the price. The wine is typically well-made and easy to drink, and it is a good choice for people who are looking for a affordable wine to enjoy with friends and family.

If you are looking for a wine that is both affordable and enjoyable, Highway 5 is a good option to consider. The wine is made from quality grapes and it is produced by a reputable winery. Highway 5 wine is sure to please even the most discerning wine drinker.

Here are some reviews of Highway 5 wine from other people:

    • "Highway 5 Cabernet Sauvignon is a great value for the price. It's a smooth, easy-drinking wine that's perfect for a weeknight dinner."

    • "Highway 5 Chardonnay is a refreshing and flavorful wine. It's perfect for a summer picnic or a casual get-together."

    • "Highway 5 Merlot is a delicious and affordable wine. It's a great choice for people who are new to wine or who are looking for a wine that's easy to drink."

    • "Highway 5 Pinot Noir is a light and fruity wine. It's a great choice for people who are looking for a refreshing wine to enjoy on a warm day."

Highway 5 has a cool way of describing their wines on the back of their bottle in a way that is both informative and engaging. I especially like how they talk about the different flavors and aromas that you can expect to find in their wines. It's always helpful to have a little bit of guidance when you're trying to choose a wine, and Highway 5 does a great job of providing that. Each bottle starts off with saying, "Journey with us along HWY 5 through fields bursting with the freshest fruit, lovingly grown by generations of experts known as the agriculture of Cali." Then they go on with a description of the particular type of wine.

Here is what Highway 5 writes on the back of their Cabernet Sauvignon bottle: "Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold and full-bodied wine with flavors of black currant, blackberry, and cassis. It has a smooth finish with hints of vanilla and spice. Pair it with grilled meats, hearty stews, or rich pasta dishes."

Here is what Highway 5 writes on the back of their Merlot bottle: "Our Merlot is a smooth and easy-drinking wine with flavors of red cherry, plum, and chocolate. It has a soft finish with hints of vanilla and spice. Pair it with grilled chicken, pasta dishes, or light salads."

I've recently concluded that E & J Gallo Winery pretty much makes every wine in America. But not quite. E & J Gallo Winery is the largest winery in the United States, but it does not make every wine in America. There are many other wineries in the United States that produce high-quality wines. E & J Gallo Winery is a family-owned winery that was founded in 1933 by Ernest and Julio Gallo. The winery is headquartered in Modesto, California, and it has operations in California, Washington, and New York. E & J Gallo Winery produces a wide variety of wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel.

Some of the other largest wineries in the United States include:

    • Constellation Brands: Constellation Brands is a wine and spirits company that is headquartered in Victor, New York. The company owns a number of wine brands, including Robert Mondavi Winery, Clos du Bois, and Ravenswood.

    • The Wine Group: The Wine Group is a wine company that is headquartered in Napa, California. The company owns a number of wine brands, including Beringer Vineyards, Cakebread Cellars, and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.

I'm familiar with Beringer and Robert Mondavi. It's good to know these are from different vineyards. This is because the grapes from different vineyards can have different characteristics, which can affect the taste of the wine. For example, grapes that are grown in a cooler climate will typically produce a wine that is more acidic and less fruity than grapes that are grown in a warmer climate.

Beringer Vineyards is located in St. Helena, California, and it is one of the oldest wineries in the Napa Valley. The winery was founded in 1876 by Jacob Beringer, and it is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines.

Robert Mondavi Winery is also located in St. Helena, California, and it was founded in 1966 by Robert Mondavi. The winery is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir wines.

Both Beringer and Robert Mondavi are world-renowned wineries, and they produce high-quality wines. However, the wines from these two wineries can have different characteristics, depending on the grapes that are used.

On a sidenote, someone should make Willy Wonka wine, and have a snozzberry flavor. I would love to try a snozzberry-flavored wine. I think it would be a unique and delicious experience.

Snozzberries (as you probably know) are a fictional fruit that appears in the book and film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. They are described as having a "curious taste" that is "not at all unpleasant." I imagine that a snozzberry-flavored wine would be sweet and fruity, with a slightly tart aftertaste.

Willy Wonka wine would be a great addition to any wine collection. It would be a unique and interesting wine that would be sure to start a conversation. It would also be a great gift for any fan of Willy Wonka or chocolate.

If I were to make Willy Wonka wine, I would use a combination of different fruits to create the snozzberry flavor. I would also use a special yeast that would give the wine a unique flavor. I would want the wine to be sweet and fruity, but also have a slightly tart aftertaste. Willy Wonka wine would be a great success. It would be a unique and interesting wine that would be sure to please fans of Willy Wonka and chocolate. I would definitely recommend trying it if you ever have the chance.

When Are You Going to Start Taking Mushrooms Seriously?

 Hello All:

Over twenty years ago this question was asked half in jest and was then turned into a small writing that included a recipe for something made with mushrooms. But throughout the past couple of decades it has evolved.

Well, it's evolved even further. Last night I posed my silly question to Google's AI engine, Bard. It resulted in a moment of brainstorming and I walked away from the conversation with an entirely new perspective on mushrooms. Yes, mushrooms are very important!

When Are you Going to Start Taking Mushrooms Seriously?

Mushrooms are incredibly versatile and nutritious, and they're becoming more and more popular as a culinary ingredient. But there is so much more to mushrooms that you probably haven’t considered. Mushrooms are an important part of our ecosystem, and they have a lot to offer us in terms of food, medicine, and even spirituality. They're also being studied for their potential health benefits, including their ability to boost the immune system, fight cancer, and improve cognitive function. It's important to take mushrooms seriously and to learn more about them so that we can use them to their fullest potential.

Here are a few reasons why mushrooms are serious business:

    • Mushrooms are one of the most efficient decomposers on the planet. They break down dead plants and animals, returning their nutrients to the soil. This is essential for keeping our ecosystems healthy.

    • They're a good source of protein, fiber, and vitamins B and C.

    • They're low in calories and fat.

    • They contain compounds that can boost the immune system and fight cancer.

    • They may help to improve cognitive function.

    • Mushrooms have been used in traditional medicine for centuries. They have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and immune-boosting properties.

    • Mushrooms can be used to create a variety of products, including dyes, inks, and biofuels.

    • Mushrooms have the potential to be used for other purposes, such as biofuel, biomaterial, and bioremediation.

    • Mushrooms are a beautiful and fascinating part of nature. They can be found in all shapes and sizes, and they come in a variety of colors.

    • They're delicious and versatile, and can be used in a variety of dishes.

It's clear that mushrooms are serious business. So if you're not already eating mushrooms, I encourage you to give them a try! You might be surprised at how much you enjoy them.

***

The world seems divided between mushroom lovers and mushroom haters. You must admit that the thought of eating fungus that grows in strange places is a little gross. So why do us mushroom lovers love mushrooms? It's a question I'm afraid we'll never be able to answer. What is known is that mushrooms have a tender, meaty texture when cooked, and they are also porous which helps them to absorb flavors in whatever meal they are made with.

There are thousands of types of mushrooms around the world which are edible, but many of them are difficult to obtain much less cultivate. Some mushrooms are edible to one person but poisonous to another. And other mushrooms are just flat-out poisonous. There are even a collection of mushrooms that are hallucinogenic and contain properties such as psilocybin. One must truly be an expert on mushrooms if ever going mushroom hunting.

Mushrooms have been eaten for thousands of years. They were enjoyed by ancient Romans and Egyptians alike, and they do have a history of being (at times) an exclusive royal food. In some parts of history, whenever a new mushroom was going to be introduced to the palace, the royal taster was given the mushroom to make sure it was okay to eat. I suppose modern mushroom cuisine owes many a thanks to these unfortunate royal tasters who lost their lives in the name of mushroom eating!

Mushrooms are very important throughout the upper-northern hemisphere of the world where winters are long. The mushroom can provide nutrients throughout the winter. This fact is baffling because mushrooms are low in calories, low in fat, and low in protein. But they do have a high amount of potassium. Still, if you enjoy mushrooms and have ever eaten a sizable amount, you soon realize that mushrooms can be filling. It's a very interesting food.

The most common mushroom found in grocery stores are the white-cap mushroom which make a delicious snack when sliced up and cooked in olive oil with a little salt. portobella mushrooms are another common mushroom that are even thicker in texture and are very close to eating meat. It yields a huge mushroom cap that averages 6 inches in diameter. Some people even grill them on the barbeque with burgers or simply portobello burger with all the fixings and no meat! But if you are really hungry and crave a special treat, try a thick, extra-tall burger, and top it off with a portabella cap!

Shiitake mushrooms can also be found in the store, but they are not as easy to come by. Shitake mushrooms are usually popular in Chinese restaurants and mixed in with chow-mien or other dishes.

The truffle is popular, but nearly impossible to come by. It is so difficult to cultivate the truffle, yet it is delicious! With this combination, the truffle is a highly expensive mushroom. Upscale restaurants offer a $70 macaroni and cheese dish simply because it contains truffle mushrooms!

I am on a quest. I am in search of a gigantic mushroom the size of a tree. It would probably exist somewhere in the Amazon jungle and would probably have a very, tough outer shell; almost like wood. But when you break open the outer shell, inside would be a tender and delicious mushroom that would be out of this world when you fry it with butter. To be honest, I would be against eating a mushroom of this size because finding a mushroom like this would be a treasure. This gargantuan mushroom more than likely does not exist, but it is a fun fantasy.

True or False: Prophecies of the Pyramid of Giza

Hello All:

Are the Prophecies of the Pyramid of Giza true or is it all a hoax? I spent a couple of afternoons researching a few of the claims which was no easy task.

My general take on the prophecies: For many centuries there has been a belief that the Pyramid of Giza contained clues to whatever calculations the ancient Egyptians used for determining the dimensions of the Earth along with distance to the sun, etc. It was also believed that the pyramid revealed the past, present and future of Earth as well as mankind.

Many of the findings are true regarding the pyramid. Take for example, it really is located on the Earth's center of mass. And to some extent, the pyramid really is a demonstration of a square circle which is a mathematical impossibility.

There are other claims, however, that I cannot validate such as the size of the walls summing to 36,524 inches which (if you move the comma over to just before four and replace with a decimal) you get the precise amount of days it takes for the Earth to go around the sun. I, personally, have not found this to be true. But maybe I'm doing it wrong.

There are claims that when measuring the interior of the pyramid in cubits and taking note of markings or the opening of a certain chamber, we are provided an accurate timeline of the history of mankind from the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt to the birth and crucifixion of Christ. But when comparing the dates to the historical dates that scholars agree on, the revealed dates from the pyramid don't exactly match up. Take for example the pyramid says that the Israelites made their exodus in 1453 BC where-as historians agree that this occurred in 1300 BC. So we are off by about 150 years which if it truly is a revelation, it's still remarkable.

Assuming the idea of the Great Pyramid was to relay significant information about the Earth and the history/future of mankind, whoever made the pyramid apparently knew that big events were about to occur around certain times and knew how these events would impact the future. In theory, these indicators are highlighted in areas where a chamber might ascend or a pathway splits after so many cubits. The dates revealed are approximate, give or take a hundred years or so.

After spending way too much time trying to debunk the Pyramid of Giza and literally ending up with a bad headache, I’ve concluded that there is something remarkable of the Pyramid of Giza The so-called prophecies are something to consider. But as mentioned before, I feel that the dates of history and future events contained within the pyramid are merely approximate.

Claims of the Pyramid: What is True and What is False

Claim:

The Pyramid of Giza was constructed 4600 years ago.

True or False?

True: According to https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/giza-pyramids the pyramids were completed roughly 2550 to 2490 B.C. Subtract that from 2023 it's pretty close.

Claim:

The Pyramid of Giza stands at little over 454 feet which is the precise average height of land over sea level throughout the world.

True or False?

False: Although the pyramid really does stand at 454 feet, the average height of land over sea throughout the world is 2755.91 feet.

Claim:

The base of the pyramid measures at 13.6 acres.

True or False?

True https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/pyramid/explore/gizahistory2.html

Claim:

There is a flat solid granite mountain just below the surface where the pyramid is constructed to support the pyramid's weight.

True or False?

No mention of a mountain under the pyramid can be found, but "an enormous system of caves, chambers and tunnels lie hidden beneath the Pyramids of Giza, according to a British explorer who claims to have found the lost underworld of the pharaohs. Populated by bats and venomous spiders, the underground complex was found in the limestone bedrock beneath the pyramid field at Giza." https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna32417238 Considering that mountains have caves, this might suggest the claim to be true.

Claim:

The pyramid is constructed in such a way to face true North.

True or False?

True, the pyramid was constructed so that all sides would face North, South, East and West. The entrances of pyramids are all on the north side, and the temples of the pyramids are on the east side. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/pyramid/explore/gizahistory2.html

Claim:

The pyramid is located in the precise center of the Earth's land mass.

True or False?

True, "In 1864, Charles Piazzi Smyth, Astronomer Royal for Scotland, gave in his book Our Inheritance in the Great Pyramid the coordinates with 30°00′N 31°00′E, the location of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. He stated that this had been calculated by "carefully summing up all the dry land habitable by man all the wide world over". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographical_centre_of_Earth

Claim:

Each side of the Great Pyramid is slightly caved in to form a bow. The radius of this bow is equal to the exact radius of the Earth.

True or False?

Not entirely true...

What is true: Despite what you may think about this ancient structure, the Great Pyramid is an eight-sided figure, not a four-sided figure. Each of the pyramid's four sides are evenly split from base to tip by very subtle concave indentations. It is believed that this discovery was made in 1940 by a British Air Force Pilot. https://www.discovery.com/exploration/Eight-Faces-Great-Pyramid-Giza

As for matching the radius of the Earth, plenty of sources are quick to jump on this claim without any explanation. However, the best explanation I've read is one hell of a long shot. You get the feeling that people had to use trial and error to find the right dimensions to fit a formula that would demonstrate the Egyptians knew the dimensions of the Earth. "The distance the Earth spins or rotates at the Equator in 2 seconds is equal to the Perimeter of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Since there are 86,400 seconds in a day, 2 seconds is 1/43200th of a day. The height of the Great Pyramid of Giza multiplied by 43,200 = the polar radius of the earth. The base perimeter of the Great Pyramid, multiplied by 43,300 = the equatorial circumference of the earth. Thus, the monument has encoded into it the dimensions of the planet, on a scale of 1 to 43,200. The number 43,200 is derived from the precession of the earth’s axis (i.e. the earth wobbles on its axis at a rate of 1 degree every 72 years… and 43,200 is a multiple of 72.) https://dustyreviews.com/2022/03/09/dusty-conspiracies-the-great-pyramid/

Claim:

The Pyramid of Giza is a mathematical impossibility due to the fact that the pyramid's measurements demonstrate it to be a square circle.

True or False

Somewhat true, "The height of the Great Pyramid is to its base perimeter as a radius is to a circle’s circumference, the base being a square version of a circle. Although the Great Pyramid is not the product of a particular circle-squaring operation because the four sides are not equal, it never the less should be considered, in principal at least, to be the product-child of the union of its mother, the circle, representing the spirit side of All, and its father, the square, representing matter." https://greatpyramidmath.weebly.com/25.html

Claim:

Thy Pyramid of Giza once had an outer layer of polished casing stones, each weighing twenty tons. Arabs stole them during an Earthquake once they were loosened.

True or False?

True, the top-most part was lost because, over time, the pyramid outer casing was stripped for stone to use it in building elsewhere... On the upper fourth or fifth of Khafre's Pyramid the casing is still preserved. We have evidence that the stripping of the pyramids' fine outer casing began as early as the New Kingdom in ancient Egypt - the era of Tutankhamen, when the pyramids were already 1,200 years old, or more! The removal of the casing of the Giza Pyramids, therefore, went on from the 12th century B.C. to the 12th Century A.D. when the Arab historian, Abd al-Latif al-Baghdadi, visited Egypt (about 1196 A.D.) and reported that Karakoush, working for the Egyptian ruler, began to quarry the smaller pyramids at Giza for building stone. The fact that the casing still hangs on the upper part of Khafre's Pyramid indicates that those who stripped the fine limestone off the pyramid casings started from bottom and progressed to top." https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/pyramid/mail/responses970207.html#:~:text=The%20top%2Dmost%20part%20was,used%20for%20the%20outer%20casing.

Claim:

In the days of Sir Isaac Newton, there was legend that the Great Pyramid of Giza revealed Earth's past, present and future. For this reason, he visited the pyramid to help complete his law of gravity.

True or False?

True, Newton was interested in the cubit, a unit of measurement used by the Great Pyramid’s builders. He believed that it could enable him to figure out the exact dimensions of other ancient structures. In particular, he hoped to learn the dimensions of the Temple of Solomon, which he thought could hold the key to understanding the biblical apocalypse. He was trying to find proof for his theory of gravitation, but in addition the ancient Egyptians were thought to have held the secrets of alchemy that have since been lost. Many of Newton’s unpublished notes concerning alchemy, occult matters and the biblical apocalypse only resurfaced after his death in 1727… His papers were bursting with evidence for just how heretical his views were... He tied his interest in the pyramid to his efforts to understand gravity. He thought that the ancient Greeks had successfully measured Earth’s circumference using a unit called the stade, which he believed was borrowed from the Egyptians. By translating the ancient measurement, Newton hoped to validate his own theory of gravity. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/notes-revealing-isaac-newtons-occult-theory-great-pyramids-sold-180976478/

Claim:

The true amount of days it takes for the Earth to go around the sun (365.24 days) is revealed in the pyramid. This is obtained by calculating the pyramid's four walls: 9131 inches x 4 = 36,524. Simply move the decimal over and you get the precise amount of days.

True or False?

Does not seem to be true. Each side of the base of the pyramid is 756 feet. Multiply that times 4 and you get 3024. Multiply that times 12 and you get 36,288 which certainly isn't anywhere near 36,524.

Claim:

The entrance of the pyramid marks the year of the pyramid's completion, 2623 BC.

True or False?

2623 BC is about 75 years later from the estimated date of the pyramid's completion, but certainly close enough. As for the entrance marking the completion, this is assuming the entrance was the last area constructed.

Claim:

An area of scored lines marks the year, 2141 BC when the North Star would would have shined through the descending passage.

True or False?

In ancient times, the celestial pole was near Thuban, located in the constellation Draco. https://www.constellation-guide.com/polaris-the-north-star/#:~:text=Polaris%20wasn%27t%20always%20the,it%20was%20to%20Alpha%20UM Assuming this star really did shine through the descending passage, then the claim is true.

Claim:

By measuring inch-by inch (in cubits), we are taken to the year 1453 BC, the year when the Israelites made their exodus from Egypt.

True or False?

The date is off by about 150 years. Historians and scholars agree that the Exodus would have occurred in 1300 BC. https://www.britannica.com/event/Exodus-Old-Testament Still, it’s a pretty close considering that this would have been predicted.

Claim:

Travel upwards in the chamber until reaching the grand gallery. By measuring in inches, we learn that we have reached the date in history of September 29, 2 BC which is supposed to be the birth of Christ.

True or False?

No links or sources are necessary. All Christians know that Christ was born on December 25, 1BC. Although a controversial thing to say, there is plenty of historical evidence to back this up. So we are off by a hundred or so years. Still, it’s interesting.

Claim

The entry point to the grand gallery forms what is known as the Christ Triangle. For within that triangle are two other significant dates that mark Christ's baptism as well as his crucifixion: October 14, 29AD and April 3, 33 AD respectively.

True or False?

AD 33 sounds about right, although various sources offer different years. As for the baptism, this, too, has so many conflicting sources, even those that reference the Bible. Again, the dates provided by the pyramid a pretty close if not completely accurate.

Claim:

As one continues to ascend the Grand Gallery beyond the Christ Triangle, there is a large step at the top that when measured matches with the year of 1844 AD which many know is the start of the industrial age.

True or False?

Close enough: “The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in Great Britain, continental Europe, and the United States, that occurred during the period from around 1760 to about 1820–1840” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_Revolution

Claim:

In terms of measurement, the Grand Gallery ends in the year of 1914 AD which coincidentally starts World War 1.

True or False:

This is true:  First World War (28 July 1914 – 11 November 1918). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_I
